ch1 pg19
in case you can’t read cursive (like me), here is the transcript of the note:
To my girl,
Do you hear the song of the forgotten wings? Go East and you will find me.
It’s time you learned why I had to leave you so many years ago.
The Dragondove
thx to my roommate for writing it for me. though for all i know, it could just say butts over and over again…

I know I’m a bit late with this reply, but figured I’d mention it anyway. The transcription is correct. I am dyslexic and for me in school, cursive and typing were both much easier than block lettering. I’m obviously a supporter of keeping both in the education system, because it can significantly help some situations(like my dyslexia).
I’d recommend looking into cursive lettering and writing with a flexible tip pen. I think the available results can be stunning compared to other writing styles/impliments. I’ve recently switched to doing all of my writing in person with a flexible tip fountain pen from Fountain Pen Revolution, and can recommend them as a cheap source for a flex-tip pen.
